Millville Savings Bank Presents Financial Literacy Program in Local School

Millville, New Jersey. June 10, 2019 — Millville Savings Bank employees Karen Borgesi, VP, BSA and Compliance Officer, and Ricky Edwards, BSA Officer and Branch Manager recently presented the Saving with Mandy and Randy financial literacy program to Mrs. Robin Rivell’s and Mrs. Krista Jacquet’s 3rd grade classes at Mount Pleasant Elementary School in Millville, NJ.

VP Borgesi stated, “It’s never too early to teach children the primary principles and practical financial skills necessary to handle money responsibly. The program is fun to present and the students and teachers seemed very receptive and appreciative of our visit.” Each student also received a Millville Savings Bank piggy bank to encourage them to start the habit of saving.

Millville Savings Bank President and CEO David Greenfield stated, “We plan on reaching out to other local schools and teachers to hopefully present to more students in the fall.  We encourage local schools to contact us to sign up for this financial literacy program. It teaches great financial life skills.
