Millville Savings Bank was thrilled to spend the day with the bright and curious 2nd graders at West Avenue School! Vice President & Business Development Officer Ricky L. Edwards, joined by Hattie Wetzel, visited the classrooms to introduce the importance of financial literacy at an early age.

Students participated in fun, interactive activities that helped them understand saving, spending, and making thoughtful financial choices. Their energy and enthusiasm made the experience rewarding for everyone involved.

Millville Savings Bank Celebrates New Chapter with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

 Millville, New Jersey (July 8, 2025): Millville Savings Bank proudly welcomed over 200 guests to its open house for their newly renovated branch. The event was a resounding success, drawing community members, local leaders, and business representatives who gathered to see the bank’s refreshed facilities and celebrate a new chapter in its nearly 85 years of service to the region.

The event featured remarks from bank leadership, guided tours of the updated branch, and some of the city’s favorite foods were provided to those attending. Several local chambers of commerce were present to show their support, and the event has already been featured in their communications.

Millville Savings Bank Presents Financial Literacy Program in Local School

Millville, New Jersey. June 10, 2019 — Millville Savings Bank employees Karen Borgesi, VP, BSA and Compliance Officer, and Ricky Edwards, BSA Officer and Branch Manager recently presented the Saving with Mandy and Randy financial literacy program to Mrs. Robin Rivell’s and Mrs. Krista Jacquet’s 3rd grade classes at Mount Pleasant Elementary School in Millville, NJ.

VP Borgesi stated, “It’s never too early to teach children the primary principles and practical financial skills necessary to handle money responsibly. The program is fun to present and the students and teachers seemed very receptive and appreciative of our visit.” Each student also received a Millville Savings Bank piggy bank to encourage them to start the habit of saving.

Millville Savings Bank President and CEO David Greenfield stated, “We plan on reaching out to other local schools and teachers to hopefully present to more students in the fall.  We encourage local schools to contact us to sign up for this financial literacy program. It teaches great financial life skills.
